How to use Coconut Oil for Hair Growth
Coconut oil has lots of benefits and can be used for more than just cooking. It can also be used to treat your hair and promote healthy hair growth. Coconut Oil won’t make your hair magically grow back, but it will help with getting you a smoother, softer and thicker head of hair.
Asian cultures have been using Coconut Oil for thousands of years for their hair and skin and still continue to do to this day. It has been used as a natural remedy for fighting dandruff, promoting hair growth and preventing lice.
How to Apply Coconut Oil to Your Hair
Make sure that you have organic, virgin coconut oil. Take a little bit, place it on your hands and apply it thoroughly to damp or dry hair. Massage the oil for a couple of minutes into your hair so that it nicely covers your scalp and penetrates the follicles.
Leave it on for at least 30 minutes or overnight. It is up to you. Depending on how much oil you put in your hair it can start dripping and flowing once it melts onto our scalp. So start off with a little bit of Coconut Oil and add more as needed.
Wash out the oil after leaving it in for 30 minutes at least with shampoo. Or if you plan to leave the oil on overnight, then make sure that you use a shower cap.
Apply a little bit of oil to your hair after you shower for a naturally, smooth organic moisturizer that will not leave you hands feeling greasy after.
Enjoy your smoother and thicker hair.
